The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners is seeking professional consultant services for design services on County Road 387 (Doc Whitfield Road) Widening and Resurfacing Project. The scope of this project will include the surveying, design, permitting and preparation of construction plans for County Road 387 Widening and Resurfacing Project. The project will begin at CR 387 (Doc Whitfield Road) from State Road 71 and continue to Murphy Road. The project will include survey and design associated with widening of the existing travel lanes from 10’ to 12’ and the addition of 5’ paved shoulders. A drainage basin analysis will be conducted to determine the need for new cross drains. The condition of the existing cross drains and side drains will be evaluated to determine if replacement/extension is necessary. Storm pipes that are replaced/extended will receive new end treatments. Existing superelevations will be evaluated to determine if correction is needed. Existing signage will be evaluated for replacement. Existing guardrail(s) will be evaluated for upgrades/replacement. Thermoplastic striping and grassing will also be included.

The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking solicitations from vendors to provide solid waste services.
RFP DEADLINE: Submitted on or before January 7th, 2019 no later than 4:30 PM (Eastern) and will be opened consistent with county policy thereafter on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at 10:00 AM (Eastern) at a Special Gulf County Commission meeting.

A mandatory pre-proposal conference was held at 10 AM (Eastern) on December 19, 2018 at the County Commissioner’s meeting room in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building, Gulf County Courthouse Complex, Port St. Joe, Florida.

LATE PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THE AFOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE CLERK’S OFFICE.
