Gulf County Information Technology
The role of the Gulf County Information Technology Department is to ensure that all electronic and data services are operational on a daily basis for all of the employees of Gulf County Board of County Commissioners without interruptions. The County IT Director is responsible for the Board’s Wired and Wireless Data Network, Cloud Services, Camera Systems, Cell Phones, Printers, Computers, Laptops, Tablets and Servers. We also maintain the IP Phone System for all of the Gulf County Governmental offices.
The IT Director also advises department heads on which equipment and software they should purchase as well as doing research on upcoming projects to ensure the timely and correct end results. This can include wiring (Fiber or Copper), hardware and software for those projects.
Our work area covers both ends of the county and many points in between. Our normal hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. |
