Welcome to the Gulf County Office of Management & Budget (OMB & Grants)

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is responsible for development, implementation, and monitoring of the annual budgets for Gulf County Board of County Commissioners. The OMB office also performs the centralized functions of fiscal policy analysis, financial reporting, debt management, grant management and compliance, and special project research.

OMB provides financial management, guidance, and support to the Board, County Administrator, and all county departments regarding budgets, grants, and purchasing in accordance with policies determined by the Board of County Commissioners, Florida Statutes, and federal regulations.

Grant management responsibilities within the department include researching, soliciting, writing, administering, coordinating, tracking and compliance for all County grants. The department works to identify grant funding opportunities to maximize revenue to support County departments and help improve Gulf County.
